San Diego Court House Elopement

I traveled down to the San Diego County Clerk’s office with Nate and Elise on February 17, 2023 to watch these two tie the knot. It was another gorgeous day in San Diego! We walked up to the second floor of the clerks office and we waited for them to get their marriage license. After 15 minutes in the waiting room, we headed down stairs for the ceremony.

Nate and Elise wanted to film it, so Nate set up his camera on his tripod. That took him a few minutes and I was able to get all of my setting on my camera set up. It was the four of us. Nate, Elise, myself and the wedding officiant. The setting was soooo intimate! The lighting was immaculate too!The officiant was so nice and started when we were ready.

The ceremony lasted about 10 to 15 minutes. My heart was melting as I was photographing it. They way Elise would look and Nate and the way Nate would look at Elise. I truly felt the connection between the two of them. It really shows in the photos too (insert tearing up emoji here)!
After the ceremony, we planned to do a couples portrait session! We roamed around the county clerks office then walked across the street to the harbor. We walked by the gorgeous Star of India, Ketch, and Brigantine. It was slightly too busy to photograph there, so we photographed down the road in front of the Berkley Boat. I loved photographing Elise and Nate. They were so open minded to all of the fun poses! This was such an unforgettable time with Mr. & Mrs. Bradley.
